The problem with the people who are in power, is that they the ones who want to get into places of power and are, by definition, the ones who want to control everybody and everything. When these same people are busy being puritanically disgusted, by people who want to be different, this is also a trait you'd expect from someone who wanted to lead the herd. After all, who wants to lead a group of individuals, when you can lead a herd of followers. It's axiomatic.

Perhaps we should simply say, "if you want to do the job, we won't let you!"
