What a difference for the better nudity has made in my life.
One afternoon in the summer of 1968 I was the only one home. I went out to our backyard pool, took off my swimsuit, and was astounded at how good it felt to swim naked.
Over the next few decades I had the pleasure of skinnydipping several times.
The big change occurred just a few years ago when I joined The Naturist Society and the Southern California Naturist Association.
Since then I've enjoyed naked yoga classes, as well as visits to nude beaches in California, Nevada, and Spain.
One of the highlights of my life was participating in the World Naked Bike Ride in Los Angeles in 2014. What a joy it was pedaling through LA with hundreds of naked people. One of the most joyous experiences ever.
Participating in naked bike rides with lots of other naked people does feel great. Being nude in other settings where everyone else is naked also feels very normal, then you have to return to the textile world, maybe only briefly, but that feels very odd.
… very odd!
It feels as enters or leaves you to another world. Perhaps the preachers of religions have wrapped their peoples also because therefore in much cloth – the (biological) life on earth should not just be simple beautiful? 😉
No matter how you feel, no matter where you in the game – the system is also defined in terms of clothing.
Who I am when I'm naked?
When I'm naked I feel like I am the real me. When we're with other naked friends it feels like we're all ourselves, no clothing to give out different messages about each other and it does feel very natural and normal to socialise nude, as well as being the best way to do it.
Fully aligned Bob. Naked is entirely normal…
Isn't it odd that in 2014 we have to make special provision to be as we were naturally meant to be? In our own homes or backyards we take minimal care, but elsewhere we are made to feel as if we are "odd".
