NEWT 2020 – TENT GROUP – a hiking week somewhere in Austria- every day we do between 10 and 20 km hikes on alpine paths.
Participation fees to be arranged with the group leader. The participants are coming from many countries, This hikers group is an international mixed meeting event.
The “camp base” from the tent group is located in the hut group area.

while i won’t be able to join you, i was curious about one thing:
do any of the participants do it barefoot, as i would?
i’ll try to cheer you on for this year’s walk!
There are people who join and do it barefoot, but not many. You need to bear in mind that the NEWT is usually held in mountainous terrain, and “appropriate footwear” is recommended. We’ve had some people do some parts barefoot (where suitable) and carry their boots for where necessary.
