Hi all,
I'm planning to organize a mini hippie-type festival at Pacific Sun Friends on Sunday 12th November. It'll go from 8am – 6pm.
There will be cover charge of $25 per person or $40 per couple for the day. At the moment, I am networking with the local 'alternative' communities in Brisbane to try and get these activities happening on the day in the area outside the clubhouse:
1) Face and body painting
2) Nude yoga and meditation session
3) Tribal drumming circle
4) Fire juggling and hoopla dancing
5) Introduction to veg-n diets and cooking workshop
6) Massage circles
7) Karaoke singing
8) Creek swimming
9) Acoustic music performances
10) Life Drawing
It's open to couples, families and singles alike but with more focus on the young and hip people. Rather than just lazing about in the sun, I'd like to have people actively taking part in things. It's also BYO food and drinks.
