Hi, I’m Robbie, one half of HelenAndRobbie. I’m 65, and am lucky enough (under current political circumstances) to have been retired  from nursing since I was 59.

I am, we are, new to the idea of being naturists or, perhaps more accurately, to the idea that the label ‘naturist’ applies to us. Not new to being comfortable naked though – at home, swimming, in nature and so on. For me, as a half-Swede, that’s been an unremarkable aspect of life since childhood. In a way I rather regret the late revelation that I’m a naturist – it feels like years of lost opportunity. Since the revelation we’ve started to seek out naturist experiences and have been almost overwhelmed by the resultant well-being. Still, ‘better-late-than-never’!

Our first experience social nudity was in 2014 at http://saltholmenskallbadhus.se in Göteborg in Sweden, since then Unisee in Bremen, Abtswoudse Hoeve at Delft,, Ribersborg Kallbadhus… …and eventually, this year, Delft again, West Highland Retreat, the White Rose Club near York and now frequent visits to Arlington and its lovely folk – the saviour of our sanity in a year of bereavement and massive care commitments.

I think I can speak for both of us, when I say that the the beautiful thing about having become ‘naturists’ and frequenting naturist venues, is the lovely people we have met. This is a thing special to naturism, I think
