I still vividly remember my first contact with nudism, when my family and me met an elderly couple on a Danish beach during a summer vacation in the 80s. The two were completely nude, with their skin shimmering like bronze in the summer light, and looked completely relaxed and at ease with themselves. It made a lasting impression on me. It still took some years until I tried “skinny-dipping” myself with a group of student friends in my 20s. I loved it from the first moment I enjoyed the sensations of the sun, the breeze and the water on my naked skin. Being nude has become a natural part of my life. I am a dedicated home nudist for many years now, but I love being nude in nature even more. Swimming, sunbathing, hiking, doing Yoga – it just feels better and more intense without clothes.
