Freehike Japan

Until recently a long time Japan resident, where I enjoyed the easy access to hot springs and the local tradition of naked public bathing. I was sometimes working to push those boundaries further, getting naked in nature in secluded places — beaches, mountains, wilderness camping — even though that is definitely NOT the local tradition. As long as people have sufficient warning they don't object to my nudity, but sadly it is rare for someone to join me in nudity when I am pushing the boundaries.Now, I am looking forward to the easier and more accepted access to nudist beaches, and any other nudist experiences which may be available, but I will miss the more normal and accepted nature of the hot spring experience back in Japan.
