A very warm day in the Netherlands, in the afternoon 41 C. Coudn’t use my clothes today.

My wild garden, it looks like a jungle now. I found these wild poppies there, beautifull. 🙂 It was a nice day with a lot of sun, I think I used my clothes 5 minutes today, de rest I could stay nude.

On our favorite beach in the east of Crete.

Gras is pretty high now, but beautifull to see.

From the Richtis waterfall, through the Richtis Gorge in north east Crete, you reach this beach. That day we were the only visitors.

It looks beautiful. I looked into this when we were there last year but I don’t think my wife would have been able to walk that far…lots of steps.

+/- 1 hour walk, but you have to cross the water sometimes. We didn’t came with our shoes dry upstairs.

Hello my friends, back from my holidays on Crete. This time we were in the east of the island with his beautifull nature and quiet beaches.

No, it was at Lagada beach in the east of Crete. Near Makrigialos. On the 1,5 km long beach maybe 5 or 6 people. Very quiet.

Excellent. We went only as far a Ierapetra and then westwards from there. None of the beaches were busy and the water was amazing.

On one of our geocache hikes we found this little beach, no other people there. It’s difficult to find, so I think that could be the reason. Lucky we. 🙂

pardon my profound ignorance, what is geocaching in layperson’s terms….. have seen a number of posts about the matter and am curious

it’s a free and useless game in which you have to find caches thanks to the gps coordinates. There is a Geocaching group in Naktiv

Aren’t all games ultimately useless? Their ‘use’ is to entertain and geocaching certainly does that. For me it takes me to places I might not otherwise explore and so helps me to discover nice places – and that can include secluded beaches where you can strip off, as it clearly did for Lukas… 🙂

Today with 30C some work to do in my garden. Hot and dusty.

Many beaches in Crete are nudistfriendly, like this beach near Makrigialos in the south east of the island.

Do you have to walk a long way to get to an isolated area of beach?
We have mobility problems and we need to use beaches close to a car parking place.
Not too far from a ‘public beach’ place ?-
To this beach you have climb up a hill, but just before this one there is an other beach which you can easily reach by car. You can park the car just at the edge of the beach and then it’s a few meters walk trough sand. You can be nude there, it’s very quiet and the Cretans are tolerant.

Thank you. I am always questioning the access to beaches because they are usually in isolated locations, away from public places & quite often they have very difficult terrain to cross to get there. Good time to try to recruit others to the naturist life – clothing doesn’t make sense when it’s that hot.
Where do you live Lukas. I am melting here in Helmond, or better Hell mond.
We caught a few days of relief from the heat here in TN but it will be back this weekend. Hopefully for you when our heat goes back up yours will moderate and come back down to normal.

Wow! That’s very hot! I thought that it was hot here in Florida. I’ve never seen it over 98°F here. I thought the Netherlands was a cold place.
