  • great photos 🙂 beautiful nature and beautiful nudity 🌞

  • Too good to waste the beautiful weather yesterday, I set off back to Durdle Door for a walk. The beach was busy and no other nudists around. One couple that sat close by did not have an issue with me skinny dipping, so I took a welcome swim to cool off for my journey back. My return was quite late so I could walk naked for a good couple of miles…[Read more]

  • …a few more pics from my day. From the beach I was able to drive (naked) to a place near Corfe Castle (seen in the distance near the RHS of the pic). It was not busy so I was able to walk from the car up the hill. There was one person dressed in mostly brown sitting by a bush and he looked from a distance like a pile of rocks. Only when I got…[Read more]

  • A recent trip to Poland; not sure of the rules there but was able to take a walk in the forest for about 3 miles. We were really trying to get to the Baltic coast but in the end it was too far to drive. Still we managed to visit many beautiful cities even though naked time was limited.

    • I love mountain walking but woodland is definately a ‘more at one with nature’ experience. Looks like you had a super area to connect with mother nature ))) Cheers from BCN ))

      • Hi Al, Yes it was a large forest but is actively managed – I came across many trails. The area is divided into quadrants by the trails. I went about 4:30 pm so anyone including the workforce would likely be gone.

    • Looks like a great place to hike

      • It was very peaceful. Probably 4 or 5 cars on the nearby road during the rush hour. Strangely though I heard no animals and only the occasional bird during my walk. On my way there in the car though I saw a small deer and a hare the size of a labrador. According to the guide books there are also wild boar, snakes and tics to be mindful of.

    • Superb pics, thanks for sharing 🙂

    • Great pics!

    • Been reading a lot recently about the rewilding projects in Poland and Slovenia. This looks like the perfect way to view them in action!

  • I cannot seem to “like” your photos? HOw do I do that? Thanks.

    • You just ‘click’ your mouse button over the thumb sign. OK?

      • But what if there is no thumb sign?
I find the same problem – when viewing someone’s gallery there is a “Report” button alongside every picture, whether that is a thumbnail, the picture viewed in the ‘lightbox’ or the single picture (reached by clicking on the picture in the lightbox). The only way I have found to ‘like’ someone’s picture is to…[Read more]

        • Dear Brian, you have to click at the photo you want to comment, and when it opens in a larger version, click again! You will find the photo further down the view, displaying also title and/or description of the photo, if that has been added. There is a ”box” for adding comments to that specific photo.

          • Dear Andrew, I have done all that – the “larger version” you refer to is what I called the ‘lightbox’ above (after Naktiv Admin used that term shortly after the upgrade 18 months ago). Clicking on that larger or lightbox version of the picture gets you to what I called the “single picture” above, where it is possible to comment, but still not…[Read more]

            • Hello Brian, Try going to the person’s page and checking the ‘Activity’ section for the photo. If that view, you should have the option to ‘like’ the photo.

            • Yeah, possible to comment, but no ”thumbs up”-possibility. Would be good if that was an option at each photo. I’ve noticed when adding photos at the wall, that all comments adds up in a long row, not specifically to a certain photo.

            • Agreed Eric V, this is the only way I have found to do it (other than on the main news feed where it can be even harder to find the original post).

            • Thanks everyone!

  • Checking out a new location, literally 10mtr from the car I could be nude. I managed a quick 2 miles on my way home from work. Lots of horses and lots of passing cars but about 1/4 mile away so unlikely to be an issue. Probably a great place to bring the bike. UK New Forest.

  • Taking the long way to the beach… The route from the cliff top to the beach is quite open and very steep in places. It was such an amazing walk feeling the long grass brush against my skin. Pity I forgot my usual camera and tripod otherwise there would be more pictures. Only 4 people on the beach when I arrived, all naked, so it was great to…[Read more]

  • Out walking on the SW Coast Path recently and reached a narrow part of the path, so donned my shorts. I met a group of hikers and one asked if I had been swimming. We were at least 250ft up on the top of the cliff with no easy way down to the beach, but… challenge accepted.

  • A few gardening chores before heading off to work…

  • Walking in the forest, some areas with good visibility and a chance to walk naked. Some paths were quite enclosed with blind corners, and with a greater number of people than I had hoped, made the route a bit risky. One runner saw me but I had donned my shorts by the time he overtook me and we exchanged pleasant hellos… no issues. Great day,…[Read more]

    • Great photos mark, thanks for posting 🙂

    • Really nice place to hike.

    • Good to see you out and about Mark, enjoying the first throws of summer there.

      • Hi Les, Good to get out at last. It felt like a long winter, but now it’s warm again. I did a few hill climbs over Easter in 35C heat and although very enjoyable, a bit on the warm side for me.

    • I appreciate your discretion in taking pictures of yourself: it emerges your joy to be there, I even can smell the scent of the pines and the light-thickness in the air

    • Yep, looks like a great spot to be naked hiking. One thing I’d recommend you (to consider) is to not hide when you see people. Of course it depends on the circumstances. If you see a crowd of 100+ football supporters coming your way, get dressed 🙂 However, if you just pass a couple of people every now and then, it’s ok to just wave a friendly…[Read more]

      • Yes, whenever I have been seen in the past there has not been an problem; when I’m on my own and I see someone approaching, the decades of anti-nude upbringing surface and I’m compelled to cover up on these sort of walks. Interestingly I saw a small group whilst on my way to the hillfort, and the ladies in the group appeared to be quite…[Read more]

        • Ha ha, Mark, that happened to me once in a forest in winter in Germany wearing just shorts. There was no wind so it was actually quite warm when you put a pace on. A mixed group in muffles and caps came wandering past and a couple of the women looked at me like as if I was quite mad. 😀

    • Looks like a great days hiking!

  • Made a trip to Chapmans Pool, UK today. Approximately 2km with stunning views, possible to be naked for the whole way.

    • Super landscape Mark, the barbed wire looks a bit fierce though in one of the photos!!!

    • Myself, I wouldn’t be naked in a UK car park with that many cars – unless I knew they all belonged to Naturists, of course. Perhaps I’m not bold enough, but I just don’t dare cause any ructions.
It looks like a nice walk. In what part of the UK is Chapmans Pool?

      • Scrub that last question – it was surprisingly easy to find online. Quite close to Studland / Swanage / Purbeck in Dorset. Nice.

      • Dare to bare 🙂 It’s not always possible, but this is what I generally do as well, as I am also often driving naked to the start of the hike.

        • I walked to the headland thinking it was too cold to strip off, but the walking generated enough heat to make the trip back naked a very enjoyable walk.

        • I often drive naked, but on seeing other cars parked, I would play it safe and at least pull on a pair of shorts for the start of my walk, until I was able to work out if the people from the cars were anywhere nearby. It’s not that I mind being seen, it is that I mind being shouted at / reported to the police / etc. I just don’t want that kind of…[Read more]

      • I know what you mean Brian, but it was after 4pm and after a 2km naked walk. I was fairly confident that no-one would be starting a walk at that time and I knew no-one was along the trail I used. The two cars had been there since I arrived so probably someone in the local village. On the whole, quite a small risk. As it happened, another car did…[Read more]

        • The picture I picked up on made it look as though you were setting out naked and that is what I thought was bold of you. I always like to return to my car naked if at all possible, then, like @natMarc, I will drive naked. I do this by watching carefully as I approach and if the coast seems clear – go for it! That’s very different from starting out…[Read more]

        • You can yet mitigate completely the risk by having a sarong or a modified hiking skirt that you can wrap around your waist. It’s a very quick way to respect people’s call for modesty (although we could debate this for hours, but when the sole nudist around, better modest than jailed).

    • Brilliant photos, well done mark 🙂

  • On a short walk today, not expecting to go bare being within sight of Corfe Castle, I was pleasantly surprised that almost no-one had ventured to the top of the hill opposite the castle. I was walking back however and was overtaken by a young lady running down the hill. She seemed unfazed so I continued walking…perhaps I’m not the first to…[Read more]

    • Good job, Mark. I think you’ll find that there has been a substantial upsurge in naked hiking in recent years. Due primarily, I propose, to the fact that so many people have been sharing their positive experiences online. This reaches more people and the activity becomes a little less shocking. Then more people start to experiment with naked…[Read more]

    • In many ways this kind of encounter could be the best way we have of promoting Naturism as a sensible and normal way of life and one that is just as valid for a man on his own as it is for a mixed-sex group. Well done. You did the right thing by just walking on and not being fazed yourself…

    • Good to see you out and about again Mark. I was out on a forest walk last year, it started to rain so I stripped off to keep my clothes dry. Walking along the narrow track through the bush I was overtaken by a lady jogger, I hadn’t heard the jogger coming, she politely said hello to me and continued on her way. Maybe people are getting more…[Read more]

      • I agree. I tend not to go to places where I would meet lots of people, but most times I am seen and don’t have any negative reaction. Usually smiles and a friendly hello. Strangely both times I’ve had a negative comment was at Studland Beach whilst walking along the shoreline! Mostly though friendly comments.

    • Awesome Mark. At the exception of zealots, more and more people just don’t care. As Richard was saying, nude hiking is talked about in the press more and more, the World Naked Bike Rides, the opening of the naturist space in Paris, many naturist activities happening in non naturist environments, all contribute to getting naturism outside if its…[Read more]

  • A short walk earlier today….also managed to photograph a large fly of which there were many on my return trip.

  • A town fox visiting our garden…

  • A regular visitor to our garden…

    • Very cute, and nice to see a little wildlife in the garden!

    • Only ever saw these critters in the UK.

      • They’re cute! However, I believe the GREY squirrel is native to the USA, and that when they were brought to the UK the (native to the UK) RED squirrel population was forced to the outer fringes, Scotland and wild Wales for example.

        • Red Squirrels died off because the Grey squirrels watched where the Reds buried their stash of nuts for the winter, then stole it leaving the Reds to starve. Grey squirrels in the UK are actually classed as vermin.

        • In recent years, the re-introduction of the Pine Marten – the natural predator of all squirrels – has helped Red Squirrels recover in parts of Britain. It sounds counter-intuitive, doesn’t it! Apparently grey squirrels are slower to get away, making them easier prey for the Pine Martens and thereby allowing Red Squirrel numbers to recover. I…[Read more]

  • I read a quip from someone that sawdust was man glitter….no shortage of it here 🙂

    • Ha, Yes indeed. The sander is not too difficult to control but the circular saw can be a bit spiteful without the proper guards.

      • I use all kinds of electrical tools when totally naked, but of course I’m very careful

        • Yes, there are plenty of skilled carpenters missing a finger – I’m not that skilled, but fortunately all fingers are intact (so far)

    • Tried that – ONCE – the “man glitter” of sawdust didn’t make a good look clinging to the hair on my body.

      • You never know….it could be the new “in thing” for men. Lady GaGa tried a meat dress for one of the award ceremonies – it didn’t catch on but it takes all sorts. 🙂

  • Room 101 this weekend – The host remarked that he had seen the WNBR cross Waterloo Bridge and it was actually a beautiful sight, all shapes and sizes. There was a guy behind him with his family and Frank Skinner overheard him say “Wierdos”. So he said to the guests “you’ve got to decide whether you’re with the cyclists or with ‘that guy’, and I’m…[Read more]

  • ….an Evening Standard article on BBCs Sunday Morning Live – Surrey Police recommending that people wishing to sunbathe naked should tell neighbours first. Neither guest said they would be likely to sunbathe naked, but the man, a doctor and author, seemed to find it rather an unpleasant idea.
