A Christian looks at the naturist world (3)

We find in the Christian Naturist Fellowship that it is becoming a little more difficult to get people together for weekend or one-day activities. We meet up at various UK venues for a summer date, and there are occasional meet-ups at other times. However, there are times when we have to cancel because not enough people have signed up. Is this a sign of the times? Are people simply content to get regular newsletters? Is the way forward to be a more visible presence at other naturist events?
Recently 20 of us took a holiday together in Fuerteventura. This was a new departure, and people seem to have enjoyed it. But we must take a good hard look at our regular activites and decided whether or not we have got it right.

Although I had long been attracted to a naturist lifestyle, it was
limited to the odd beach visit; and even then I felt that, as a
Christian, I was not behaving well. When in 2001, through reading
some articles and a booklet, I came to feel that there was no conflict
between the two worlds, it was a kind of healing and a kind of
liberation.
I tried out a local landed club, joined a local swim, and took part in
a day at Studland organized by the Christian Naturist Fellowship. I
was hooked, and I have belonged to that group ever since.

There are some interesting parallels between the Christian world and
the naturist world. Members of both groups have something in which
they take delight, something they love to share with others, yet those
outside of their experience, who are in the majority, cannot
understand what is so special about it.
