This Monday, February 08, solitary snowshoe naked hike in the Chartreuse massif, France.

This Wednesday, February 03, naked hiking in the Devoluy Massif, France. Cool temperature and particularly strong and even violent wind on the crests. My two companions, however naturists, remained dressed, I left the bottom and kept my polar jacket. On the way down we met a solitary hiker who was going up. We explain to him that we are naturist…[Read more]

A small photo book of nudity in nature

I have committed a small book of photos of self-portraits with trees. Another way of looking at naturist hikes.

First snow outing of the season. One hour of semi-nude and one hour of complete nudity over the five and a half hours of hiking.

L’homme du Similaun – vivant – dans sa traversée!
The last picture reminds me of the best landscape paintings of late ‘800 with contrasts between dark and light (see Russian Kuindži https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arkhip_Kou%C3%AFndji) -
Kudos for hiking in snow, not sure I could cope with that at all so I am in awe of anyone who does!! Sunny and hot days in Spain are my preference for sure jejejeje 🙂
-
Really impressive images, Jaques-Marie, just awesome! Wonderful contrasts, and as Vittorio intimates, you captured a certain “chiaroscuro” of man and nature.
-
JMF always setting a fine example for the rest of us!

The departmental committee of the Drôme de la Fédération Française de la Randonnée has entrusted the association of the Marcheurs Nus du Val de Roanne (The Naked Walkers of the Roanne Valley) with the maintenance and marking of a portion of the GR93 between the passes of Menée and Grimone. This Friday I was available but not the other membe…[Read more]

great pictures and great news

Having the FFR backing up a naturist hiking association is a great testament of the acceptance of nudity in the hiking space. This is awesome Jacques Marie. Your example is to follow! You’re a role model for naked hikers!
-
The association has been in existence for several years and is affiliated to the FFR. The fact that we have been accepted by this federation is already very positive. At first, we were looked at with some curiosity, but as we participate in activities: training, marking, meetings, we are now considered as a hiking club like the others.
-
Great feedback Jacques Marie. Respect and perseverance seem to be the perfect words here.
-
This was my first reaction upon reading this post – how great it is that a group of naked ramblers are officially recognised and entrusted with maintenance work as well, so condoning the practice of naked hiking. This is more than just being tolerated.
What a pity more of the group couldn’t join you, perhaps they will help finish the job. Now, if…[Read more]-

Excellent to hear about such positive integration. Looks like fun work too. I’ll have to suggest it to the Catalan crowd.

This Tuesday, October 08, in summer weather, naked hiking on the edge of the Vercors, above the Isère valley and the Grenoble conurbation.
-
A naked hike to a very famous place, the Saint Eynard above Grenoble, but by a small path much less known.
-
Fantastic landscape. Natural nurture for health and mind
-
Outstanding trek!
-
wonderful definitely NAKTIV
-
We both really do miss the outdoors activities that we used to really enjoy. Sadly illness & advancing years are not friendly with such energetic outdoor pursuits. Our rare adventures now are limited to annual trips out to a friends farm, plenty of open acres and even a picnic place by a small river.
-
Outstanding views !
-
How awesome are these photos? Naktiv at it’s best, JMF.
Are you able to join us in Spain in October on Pascal’s newest venture?
-
It’s not possible for me in october. I will have my grandson at home for some days, and then I have a scheduled running competition

This Friday morning, blueberry picking on the heights of Savoy.
-
Great. Who were with you? Was it a group activity?
-
it’s a friend whith whom i’m making many naked hiking in the surronding mountains
-
There was some clothed people not far from us, but they too were busy picking blueberries and have not made any comments
-
-
Fantastic series of images. This should be sent to all Savoy tourist advertising centres!
-
Lovely fun activity. Thanks for sharing.
-
I like your contraption for gathering the berries, I haven’t seen one like that before.
-
I agree. That’s one for the Christmas list. 🙂
-
Many years ago I had a much loved great aunt who had ‘such a contraption’ for harvesting bilberries (or whinberries as they called them in Shropshire where she lived). She died in 1978 and I have no idea what became of her ‘whinberry comb’…

Hiking in Taillefer, France, somewhat annoyed because of the number of hikers on the route, but some good moments of nudity.
-
Removal for cleaning the rooflight of the van.

Back from a trip with very little wifi connection. Here are some pictures: The island of Oleron, France, its beach of Salmonards and mountain biking in the nearby forest; camping in the van in the Hautes Pyrénées, France, and early morning dish washing in the nearby river; snorkeling in a creek on the Mediterranean coast near Roses in Spain, at t…[Read more]

Changing the gas bottle in the van. I notice that the gas pipe also needs to be changed (before 2004!!!!). But I understand that the previous owner didn’t do it. What a pain to access under the stove inside the storage cupboards.

Naked hike at the 3 Becs, Drôme department, France.
-
Wow! That looks like a very interesting landscape. Great!
-
The rock face is as bare as the hiker, wonderfully view
-
Jacques Marie! Fantastic views. You amaze me every time.
-
Breathtaking. Who took the photo?
-
I put the camera on a light tripod and took the picture with the timer.
-
Wow but the timer must have been long, like half an hour to get to the peak?
-
No, it was no long at all, and on my camera, an Olympus TG 4, I can choose the delay before the picture. It’s very useful!
